Contest Details

  • This contest is open to all Malaysians residing in the country.
  • All images to be submitted through email to arden@epixels.biz.
  • All entries must be received by the organizer no later than 18 May 2008 (GMT +8).
  • Photograph submissions must be in .JPG format, 72dpi, 1024 X 768 pixels.
  • Entries cannot be watermarked or contain any other distinguishing marks (i.e. name, copyright) on the image.
  • Submission emails must include your Name (as found in IC), NRIC, Address, and Contact Number.
  • There is no limit to the number of photos you can submit.
  • Photoshopping or other digital manipulation is prohibited. This does not apply to photographic techniques contained within a camera's abilities (i.e. a manual shutter release used at night). Nor does it apply to cropping an image (because of varying darkroom techniques, this usually happens in some form and is therefore allowed here).

 

Contest Judging

  • Entries will be judged by a panel of judges on the creativity and originality of their submissions.
  • The judges’ decision is final and no discussion or correspondence can be entered into on their decision.
  • The judges reserve the right to declare any entry void should no entries meet the required standard.
  • The decisions made are final and binding in all manners and no appeals shall be entertained for any reasons whatsoever.

 

Winner Notification

  • All results will be published on the website on 31 May 2008. Winners will also be duely notified through email.
  • Prizes are to be collected as indicated in the notification to winners. Prizes have to be collected within one (1) month of notification or prizes will be forfeited. No compensation will be due to a winner who fails to claim the prize within the
    stipulated time. Collection instructions will be provided in the same notification.
  • All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, and credit, and are subject to any terms and conditions as may be imposed by the prize sponsors. We reserve the right to replace any prize with another of equivalent value without notice. We accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize values.
